Six professional TBM pilots
Airplanes are the easy part of this business. Every trip Little Hawk sells is flown by a pilot who flies the TBM as their type — one aircraft series, one set of procedures, one standard. The TBM is certified for single-pilot operation and is flown that way as standard. A certificated first officer is available at passenger request. Little Hawk arranges charter from Charlottesville and, from October 2026, from Scottsdale, Arizona.
Fourth-generation aviator, ATP-rated, flying since 1991. Joined Atlantic Coast Airlines in October 1998, upgraded to Captain on the Jetstream 41 in summer 2000 and to the Dornier 328Jet that winter. Eleven years at NetJets on the Citation XL and XLS, then founded Little Hawk Logistics in 2014.

“Between growing up the son of a police officer helicopter pilot, going to airshows since I could walk and watching Top Gun too many times, I have always wanted to be an aviator. Born and raised on Long Island, NY, my passion for aviation followed me closely to Charlottesville, VA. I have logged flight time in 28 different types of aircraft, from the TBM series to WWII aircraft such as the Stearman and T-6 Texan. The TBM is an exceptionally versatile aircraft with truly phenomenal performance characteristics. Facilitating a useful load more than half its empty weight, the TBM serves the role of transporting passengers and cargo better than any turboprop I’ve become familiar with. I am proud to be a crewman on such a fine aircraft, and to call Little Hawk Logistics not just my employer but my family.”
