The Fleet — Daher TBM 900 & TBM 910

The Daher TBM 900 series is among the fastest single-engine turboprops in production, combining turbine reliability with access to airports the airline network does not serve. At 330 knots it covers ground that takes a piston aircraft all day — and has operated from fields as short as 3,000 feet, where conditions and load allow. Our fleet is three aircraft: two TBM 900s and a 2017 TBM 910, N910VM.

The Cabin

Five adults travel in genuine comfort — leather seats with red accent stitching, a fold-out carbon fiber work table, full pressurization, and large oval windows. Quieter than most turboprops and far more personal than any commercial cabin.

Three tails, one series

Little Hawk flies the Daher TBM 900 series exclusively. We began in 2014 on a TBM 850 and have flown nothing but TBMs since. One series means one set of procedures, one set of numbers and one standard of training across every trip we sell.

Runway. Daher publishes a takeoff distance of about 2,500 feet for the current TBM 960 at sea level and maximum weight — an unfactored manufacturer figure, not a Part 135 dispatch number. We compute a jet-standard accelerate-stop distance before every departure, and run a full aircraft flight manual calculation whenever that number comes within fifteen percent of the runway available. We have carried passengers into more than forty airports with less than 4,000 feet of runway.
